Petitioner is aggrieved by the progress in respect of Baguiati Police Station Case No. 105 of 2025 dated 12.02.2025. The main grievance of the petitioner was with regard to recovery of the gold chain from his shop.

Mr. Basu, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State has submitted a report which encloses a seizure list reflecting one chain (neck) has been recovered by the police authorities.

In view of the seizure list and the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred, I am of the view that the police authorities have effectively conducted the investigation. If the petitioner is aggrieved in respect of other steps which were supposed to be taken, petitioner would be at liberty

to approach the jurisdictional court in seisin of the matter.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 5147 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
