Supplementary affidavit filed in Court today on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. 2.

None appears on behalf of the respondents.

It appears from the supplementary affidavit that the petitioner received his pensionary dues in the year 2023 though he retired from service on 31st July, 2015. The petitioner prays for grant of interest. 4.

As it appears that the petitioner received his legal dues long after his retirement, accordingly, the petitioner would be entitled to interest.

The respondent no.4, the Pension Disbursing Officer, is directed to calculate and release interest in favour of the petitioner calculated at the rate of seven per cent per annum on and from the due date till the date of actual payment.

The interest shall be paid to the petitioner positively by 30th April, 2026.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

8.

All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
