1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioners allege that their houses were destroyed by cyclones at different points of time. They seek financial assistance from the State Government for reconstruction of their houses.

3. It appears that the petitioners are yet to file individual applications seeking assistance.

4. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to make appropriate application highlighting their grievances.

5. In the event the State Government has any scheme pursuant to which the compensation can be granted, then the application of the petitioners may be considered in accordance with the said scheme.

6. If the petitioners are ultimately found eligible in any of the prevailing schemes for receiving financial assistance, then necessary steps for disbursement of funds shall be taken by the respondents.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
