(NDPS) 287 of 2025 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with NDPS case no. 09 of 2022 arising out Jamuria Police Station Case no. 199 of 2022 dated 29.4.2022 under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c)/25/29 of the NDPS Act.

And In the matter of : Uttam Gorai .... Petitioner Mr. Ayan Basu Mr. Sk. Salim ...for the Petitioner Mr. Antarikshya Basu Mr. Arup Sarkar ...for the State Report submitted by the S.I. of Police, Jamuria Police Station, ADPC dated 8.4.2025 is taken on record. Perused the report submitted by the State along with the order passed by the Trial Court on 8.4.2025. It shows that the examination of witnesses has already been concluded and the next date is fixed on 7.5.2025 for examination of the accused under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Since the trial is almost on the verge of completion, the prayer for bail is considered and rejected at this stage. However, the Trial court is requested to conclude the entire proceeding including the delivery of judgment as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the next date i.e. on 7.5.2025.

Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 287 of 2025 is dismissed.
