The report indicates that, as of the present date, a sum of Rs. 1,06,915/-, along with the applicable late payment surcharge of Rs.20,242/-, remains due and payable by the petitioner.

Upon payment of the aforementioned amounts, the petitioner's line shall be restored.

However, the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner disputes these submissions, asserting that the amount for deposit is not in accordance with law. I am not inclined to decide the dispute at this stage. Consequently, I grant the petitioner liberty to file a representation before the Station Manager of WBSEDCL, Ranigange, P.O. Ranigang, District Paschim Bardhaman, PIN-713347, within seven days from the date, in order to

raise objections concerning the alleged outstanding dues. Should such a representation be submitted, it shall be duly considered by the concerned Station Manager, who shall afford the petitioner an opportunity for a hearing within one month thereafter.

Accordingly, WPA 5294 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
