It is submitted from the Bar that the interview, the prior process of which has been challenged in the present writ petition, primarily on the ground that there were no rules of recruitment and/or service conditions, declared number of posts etc. prior to taking the interview, has in the meantime been held and the petitioners participated therein, unsuccessfully. Hence, whatever may be the merits of the writ petition, the same has become infructuous in view of the interview-in-question having already been held. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing for the Bank that the results have already been published and the appointees have already joined service.

Hence, WPA 4918 of 2022 is disposed of as infructuous with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the interview, if they so wish. It is made clear that the merits of the respective contentions of the parties have not been gone into.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
