In connection with Bidhannagar (North) Police Station Case No.108 of 2019 dated 06.08.2019 the complainant has already furnished a declaration and her statement was also recorded where she expressed her intention to compromise, amicably settle and not to pursue with the Bidhannagar (North) Police Station Case No.108 of 2019 dated 06.08.2019.
Today a copy has been submitted before this Court in respect of the proceedings pending before the Hon'ble Bombay High Court where an amicable settlement was
arrived at between the parties and the Hon'ble Bombay High Court has quashed the proceedings.
Having considered the contents of the statement, declaration and the reports submitted by the police authority in connection with Bidhannagar (North) Police Station Case No.108 of 2019 dated 06.08.2019, I am of the view that the complainant viz Ananya Ghosh is not inclined to pursue with the present case being Bidhannagar (North) Police Station Case No.108 of 2019 dated 06.08.2019. Accordingly, the said proceedings are hereby quashed. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 901 of 2022 is allowed.
Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
The order which has been passed in connection with the present revisional application is restricted to the facts of the present case and will not operate as a precedent in respect of other cases generally.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of such requisite formalities.
