1. The petitioner says that allegedly 150 bottles of Phensedyl Cough Syrup containing Codeine Phosphete was recovered from the exclusive possession of the petitioner. He is in custody for 71 days. Investigation is complete. Chargesheet has been filed. His further custodial detention is not necessary.

2. Opposing the prayer, learned State counsel tells us that 900 bottles of Phensedyl Cough Syrup was recovered from the joint possession of three accused persons including this petitioner. He also says that investigation is still not complete. Chargesheet is yet to be filed.

3. In view of commercial quantity of contraband items being involved and also seeing that investigation is going on, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. CRM (NDPS) 294 of 2024 is dismissed.
