Goutam Goswami, Chairman of the Bishnupur Municipality, is personally present. It is submitted on behalf of the Municipality that a notice will be issued to the petitioner within two weeks from date, directing him to appear before the Municipality in terms of the order dated July 30, 2024. It is further submitted before this Court that, after hearing both the petitioner and respondent no. 4, the Municipality will render a reasoned decision within two weeks thereafter.

In view of the above, there is no justification for keeping this writ petition pending. The reasoned order passed by the Municipality shall be communicated to the petitioner immediately upon its issuance.

The personal appearance of the alleged contemnor is hereby dispensed with.

Accordingly, CPAN 389 of 2025 is disposed of. (Kausik Chanda, J.)
