The petitioners are the in-laws of the victim lady. The State says that the incident occurred within 8 months of the marriage. The State refers to various statements of witnesses recorded under Section 161 of the Code. Charge sheet has been filed.

The petitioners say that they had no role to play in the suicidal death of the victim. The husband of the victim is in custody. Custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not necessary. They are fully prepared to cooperate in case of any further investigation.

We have considered the material in the case diary and the facts and circumstances of the case. There does not seem to be any serious allegation against the petitioners. On

an overall assessment of the material on record, we are of the view that the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners may be allowed.

Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- each, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and shall abide by the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure until further orders. The application for anticipatory bail being CRM 2246 of 2021 is, thus, allowed.
