For the Petitioner Mr. Jahar Lal De Mr. Shamim Ul Bari ....For the State The grievance of the petitioner is directed against nonconsideration of a representation dated 31st August, 2017 submitted to the District Magistrate being the respondent No. 2. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that in view of the excessive numbers of speed breakers that have been constructed at the said location, there are difficulties being faced by the local people.

Mr. De appears on behalf of the State and submits that he has no objection if the District Magistrate, being the respondent No. 2 is directed to consider the representation in accordance with law. In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, I direct the respondent No. 2 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 31st October, 2017 ( appearing at page 19 of the

petition) within a period of six weeks from date after giving right of hearing to all the parties.

I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the controversies and the respondent No. 2 is not to be influenced by any observation or finding made in this order. With the aforesaid directions, W.P.A. 4143 of 2019 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
