Petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of an application under Section 340 of the Code of Criminal Procedure pending in connection with Misc. Case No. 597 of 2023 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th court, Howrah. Learned advocate submits that such application is pending for a considerable period of time. The learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th court, Howrah is directed to dispose of the said application under Section 340 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in accordance with law within a period of sixty days from the next date so fixed. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 845 of 2024 is disposed of.
