Commercial quantity of contraband substance has been recovered from the joint possession of the petitioners. Accordingly, the restriction in Section 37 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 is attracted. Learned Advocate for the petitioners says that the chemical analysis report is not yet available. Learned Advocate for the State says that the report should be available shortly and may be within the next fortnight. All efforts should be made by the State to obtain the chemical analysis report at the earliest and file the same before the Trial Court.

In view of the statutory restrictions and also in view of the material in the case diary, we are not inclined to allow the petitioners' prayer for bail at this stage.

The prayer for bail is rejected.
