Grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that during the pendency of appeal filed before the appellate authority against the adjudication order under Finance Act, 1994, the adjudicating authority has attached the bank account in question of the petitioner.

Learned advocate representing the respondent revenue authority submits that the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed by withdrawing the attachment order of the bank account in question. So far as pending appeal of the petitioner before the appellate authority is concerned, the appellate authority is requested to dispose the pending appeal of

the petitioner expeditiously and in accordance with law.

With this observation and direction, this writ petition being WPA 5466 of 2024 is disposed of. ( Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
