Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference. Accordingly, the applications being IA No: CRAN/1/2020 (Old No: CRAN 1537 of 2020) and IA No: CRAN/2/2020 (Old No: CRAN 4478 of 2020) are disposed of.

Having considered the materials on record disclosing prima facie involvement of the petitioner as one of the assailants who attacked the victim mercilessly with hansua, we are of the opinion the petitioner does not stand on the same footing with the co-accused persons who are enlarged on bail. In view of the aforesaid facts, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
