Banerjee) Mr. Sounak Mandal ...for the petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the husband praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, 6th Court, Alipore to dispose of Misc. Case No. 531 of 2022 expeditiously.

Mr. Mandal, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the wife/opposite party herein filed an application under Section 36 of the Special Marriage Act which was registered as Misc. Case No. 531 of 2022. He further submits that the parties have filed their affidavits of assets and May 20, 2025 has been fixed for hearing of the said miscellaneous case. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, this Court feels that there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite party. However, learned advocate for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of the application along with a copy of this order upon the opposite party or upon

the learned advocate representing the opposite party before the learned trial Judge.

In the light of the submission made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, CO 811 of 2025 is disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, 6th Court at Alipore to take up the hearing of the Misc. Case No. 531 of 2022 on the next date fixed, i.e., on May 20, 2025, if the same is otherwise ready for hearing and to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
