2. The prayer of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground forwarded by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Jhargram to the Director of Health Services on 21st January, 2025 is yet to be disposed of.

3. None represents the respondents.

4. As it appears that the prayer of the petitioner is pending consideration at the end of the Director of Health Services, accordingly, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the writ petition pending.

5. The writ petition is disposed of by directing the Director of Health, Department of Health & Family Welfare being the respondent no. 3 herein to consider the prayer of the petitioner seeking appointment on compassionate ground strictly in accordance with the prevailing rules at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

6. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

7. If the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken without any further delay.

8. The writ petition stands disposed of.

9. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
