Report dated 28.04.2022 submitted by Mr. Hossain, learned advocate appearing for the State be kept on record. This revisional application was preferred against the order of conviction and sentence which was affirmed by the learned appellate court in respect of the judgement and order of sentence passed by learned Municipal Magistrate, 2nd Court, Calcutta in Case No. 17-D of 1986 under Section 16(1)(a)(I) of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act. Earlier a report was called for from the Officer-inCharge, New Market Police Station, but the records of the case could not be traced according to the report. This revisional application, till date, has not been admitted before this Court as the application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act is still pending for consideration. None appears for the petitioners today and on an earlier occasion i.e. on 18.04.2022 also none appeared or represented the petitioners. Having regard to the same, the revisional application be dismissed for default.

The learned Municipal Magistrate, 2nd Court, Calcutta is directed to execute the sentence so passed on 29.03.2006 in connection with Case No. 17-D of 1986.
