Affidavit of service filed in Court is taken on record.

The petitioners challenged order dated 27th September, 2023 passed by the District Inspector of Schools (PE), South 24 Parganas declaring "A" category pay scale to the petitioners from 22.05.2019. The last date of examination i.e. 16th March, 2019 they have been given "A" category pay scale.

It is now well settled that a person is deemed to have been qualified from the last date of examination in the event he succeeds the same.

In those circumstances, this Court directs that the petitioners shall be granted "A"

category pay scale after the last date of examination, i.e. 17th March, 2019.

Let the arrears be paid to the petitioners within two months from date.

6.

The impugned order dated 27th September, 2023 shall stand modified.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. (Rajasekhar Mantha, J.)
