The petitioner's grievance is that even though her name appeared in the list of selected candidates in respect of appointment of Primary School Teachers Examination which was conducted by the Howrah District Primary School Council in the year 2009-2010, no appointment letter was issued in her favour. The petitioner refers to a communication made under the Right to Information Act, 2005, which is dated December 9, 2015 intimating the learned advocate for the petitioner that the score obtained by the petitioner in the Primary Teachers' Recruitment Process, 2009 was sent to her by the Council vide Memo No. 660(14) dated July 1, 2015.

No explanation has been forwarded by the petitioner as to why no steps were taken by her after the communication was made in December 2015.

Learned advocate representing the Howrah District Primary School Council submits upon instruction that the selection process of the year 2009 is long over and all appointments have been made within the year 2015-2016.

As it appears that the petitioner has approached this Court long after the result was published and after all appointments have been given, accordingly, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ petition at such a delayed point of time.

No explanation has also been forwarded as to why the petitioner approached this Court after such inordinate delay.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties after completion of all legal formalities.
