The petitioner is aggrieved that a sum of approximately Rs.1 lakh has been deducted on account of recovery of overdrawn amount through deduction from salary. The petitioner had duly challenged such process and modality undertaken by the school.

Mr. Jana appearing for the school submits that in spite of several requests and reminders sent to the petitioner, the petitioner chose not to attend or answer to the queries of the managing committee who are the admistrators of the school.

In view of such disputes between the parties, it would be appropriate to direct the respondent no. 3 to

decide this issue regarding the eligibility of the petitioner to the entire amount or the school's right to deduct such amount from the salary of the petitioner on the grounds as stated.

I direct the respondent no. 3 to give a hearing upon adequate prior notice to the petitioner and to the school authorities by May 15, 2026. Prior to engaging in the hearing before the respondent no. 3, the parties will exchange their documents, which they seek to rely upon before the respondent no. 3. The respondent no. 3 will pass a reasoned order after hearing the parties by May 31, and communicate the order by June 15, 2026. Depending on the order, the consequentials will follow. 6.

With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
