The petitioner no. 1 is aggrieved that the representation dated 11.01.2022, of the petitioner no. 1 regarding the claim under the Standard Fire and Special Perils Policy, has not been settled by the Insurance Company till date.

Counsel for the Insurance Company submits that by a communication dated 20.01.2022, certain clarifications and information were sought from the petitioner no. 1.

It is submitted that the petitioner by communications dated 27.01.2022, and 28.01.2022, furnished all information to the Insurance Company. Counsel for the Insurance Company specifically submits that her client wants the lab test report of the partially damaged items, and the same shall be provided by the petitioner no. 1, if available expeditiously.

The Insurance Company shall dispose of the claim application of the petitioner no. 1 mandatorily and positively within seven days of supply of such report. In any event the claim of the petitioner even without supply of report, shall be dealt with and disposed of by the Insurance Company on or before 10th June 2022. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
