The grievance of the petitioner is directed against a proceeding initiated under section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (SARFAESI).

It is submitted that the petitioner needs some breathing time to make payment.

On behalf of the respondent no.2, it is submitted that in view of an order having been passed under section 14 of the SARFAESI, the petitioner has an adequate, alternative statutory remedy.

On the ground that the petitioner has an adequate alternative statutory remedy under SARFAESI, there is no scope of entertaining this writ petition.

In view of the above, WPA 5178 of 2026 stands dismissed on the ground of maintainability.
