1. None appears on behalf of the parties.

On perusal of the earlier order dated 16.01.2026, it reveals that on the said date also the writ petitioners were not represented.

3. In view of the chronic absence of the writ petitioners in connection with the instant writ petition, we have every reason to believe that the writ petitioners have lost interest in connection with the instant writ petition.

4. Accordingly, WPA 2691 of 2016 is dismissed for default.

5. With the dismissal of the instant writ petition, the pending I.A. No. CAN 1 of 2016 (Old CAN 3596 of 2016) is also, hereby dismissed.

6. Interim order, if there be any, stands hereby vacated.
