Mr. Bhaskar Nandi .....For the Petitioner Mr. Pantu Deb Roy Mr. Pannalal Bandopadhyay .....For the State By an order dated May 7, 2025 it was recorded that the petitioner had issued a letter to the Chairman, Regional Transport Authority Paschim Burdwan indicating he was no more interested to "have the above Minibus route". Mr. Nandi, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner on May 7, 2025 had sought for time as regards the said letter.

Today when the matter is called on Mr. Nandi submits that the writ petitioner has indeed issued such letter to the Chairman, Regional Transport Authority, Paschim Burdwan. He submits that in view of such letter having been issued by the writ petitioner, the cause of action of

the writ petition no longer survives and the writ petition has become infructuous.

The learned Advocate appearing for the State Respondents supports such submission of Mr. Nandi and hands up a letter dated April 23, 2025 written by the petitioner to the Regional Transport Authority, Paschim Bardhaman along with a Photostat copy of the Aadhar Card of the petitioner. A copy of the letter handed over to Court by the learned advocate appearing for the State along with a photostat copy of the Aadhaar Card of the writ petitioner appended thereto is taken on record.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, WPA 5231 of 2025 is dismissed as having become infructuous.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties after completion of all necessary formalities.
