The petitioners, however, do not want to proceed with this writ petition further and want to participate in the fresh e-auction that may be floated by the said authority.

State opposes the prayer for withdrawal. The State submits that because of the pendency of the writ petition and the interim order passed therein, the State has suffered loss of substantial revenue. State also suggests that this writ petition is an abuse of process of law.

I do not find any justification in the State's stand. If the State has suffered any loss, it will be at

liberty to take steps in accordance with law. Accordingly, I dismiss the writ petition by allowing the petitioners to withdraw the same.

Interim order granted earlier in this writ petition stands vacated.

WPA 5022 of 2022 is dismissed.
