1. Petitioner is in custody for 254 days. He submits he has been falsely implicated in the case. He prays for bail.

2. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Victim is a five year old child. She stated she was subjected to sexual assault by the petitioner.

4. Keeping in mind the aforesaid materials and the gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
