None appears for the private respondent despite service. The petitioners are the Workers' Union and pray for necessary direction upon the Registrar of Trade Unions for conducting election with regard to the entire strength of the workers of the company. The petitioners submitted a representation before the Authority on 11th January, 2019 in this regard which is yet to be disposed of.
The State respondents submit that the said representation may be directed to be disposed of at the earliest. Upon consideration of the submissions made on behalf of the parties and material on record, I dispose of the writ petition directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation filed
by the petitioner dated 11th January, 2019 within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioners, in accordance with law. W.P.A. 4161 of 2020 is thus disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
