Namrata Roy is present in Court as per the direction passed by the Court on 28th June, 2024. The petitioner, being the father of Namrata, has spoken to her and has tried to convince her to return to her home. Namrata has refused to do so.

Namrata being an adult, the Court is not interfering with her choice to reside elsewhere. The Officer-in-Charge, Illambazar Police Station is directed to ensure that no harm or threat is caused to Namrata. In the event Namrata faces any issue with regard to her protection, she may approach the police for help.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
