The petitioner participated in the 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 (SLST) for recruitment in the post of Assistant Teachers in Secondary and Higher Secondary schools. The petitioner applied for the post of English Teacher under OBC-A category.

The petitioner sought some information from the Central School Service Commission.

His application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 is pending before the Assistant Secretary of the Central School Service Commission.

The petitioner is praying for a direction upon the said authority for expeditious disposal of his said application.

W.P.A. 5326 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the Assistant Secretary, West Bengal Central School Service Commission, the respondent no.6 herein to dispose of the said application of the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of this order in accordance with law.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
