A firearm was seized from the possession of the co-accused. Such co-accused claimed that the petitioner was the purchaser and that such co-accused was attempting to deliver such firearm to the petitioner.

Role of the petitioner in the incident requires investigation. Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail will be inimical to such investigation.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 746 of 2024 is dismissed.
