After hearing the parties and considering the materials on record, I find that the grievance and apprehension on the basis whereof the petitioner had filed the instant writ petition do not survive. The report filed by the respondent no.7 clearly clarifies the position of the petitioner in the merit list. The petitioner, therefor, cannot complain that she has been arbitrarily eliminated and has been illegally denied of an engagement to the subject post for which she had applied for.

Nothing further remains to be adjudicated in this writ petition. The same is disposed of accordingly without any further order.
