The petitioners are apprehensive that the possession of their lands comprised in Plot Nos. 600 and 601 at Mouza Mohanpur, J. L. No. 19, P.S. Deganga, District North 24 Parganas would be taken away by the State respondents without due process of law.

It appears from the information supplied to the petitioners in response to a query under the Right to Information Act, 2005 that the petitioners' land are not involved in any acquisition case.

There is no materials on record justifying the apprehension of the petitioners. Needless to say that the lands of the petitioners cannot be taken away without due process of law.

W.P.A. 4213 of 2020 is disposed of with the above observation.

No order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
