The petitioner was an Assistant Surgeon (Residential) at the Cantonment Jagadish Chandra Bose General Hospital, Barrackpore.

The petitioner by communication dated 22nd July, 2019 claims salary from December, 2016 till 2nd January, 2017. The respondents have not replied to the same.

In those circumstances, let the communication dated 22nd July, 2019 being Annexure 'P-4' to the writ petition be treated as a representation of the petitioner and the same may be disposed of by the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment Board at Barrackpore within a period of two months from the date of communication of a copy of this order. The Chief Executive Officer shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner within ten days thereof.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
