The petitioners complain of illegal and unauthorized construction at the behest of the private respondents.

On a perusal of the documents annexed to the writ petition it appears that no formal complaint was or has been lodged before the Gram Panchayat alleging unauthorized construction.

In view of the above, the reliefs sought for by the petitioners cannot be allowed.

It will be open for the petitioners to file a comprehensive representation before the Gram Panchayat giving details of the unauthorized construction that is being made.

In the event such a representation is filed, the same shall be considered by the Panchayat in accordance with law.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
