Petitioner approached this Court as the representation dated January 27, 2025 was not considered by Watgunj Police Station.

Dipanjan Datta, learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report which reflects that Watgunj Police Station Case No.64 dated 07.03.2025 has been registered for investigation in respect of the alleged incident of 25th January, 2025. Having considered that the petitioner's grievance has been addressed, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition at this stage is unwarranted.

Accordingly, WPA 5356 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
