Petitioners are aggrieved by a decision of the Jute Commissioner. The petitioners made two representations to the Jute Commissioner.

Learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the respondent no. 2 submits that, the two representations may be disposed of by the respondent no. 2.

In the facts of the present case, interest of justice would be subserved by requesting the respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the representations made by the petitioners, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within seven working days from the

date of last hearing. The respondent no. 2 will afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. The respondent no. 2 is at liberty to hear such other parties and consult such documents that it deems necessary. The respondent no. 2 will communicate its reasoned order to the parties it heard forthwith thereafter.

By consent of the parties, the first date of hearing by the respondent no. 2 is fixed on August 10, 2021 at 12 noon at the office of the respondent no. 2. The respondent no. 2 need not issue any further notice to the petitioners with regard to the first date of hearing.

WPA No. 6080 of 2021 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
