It appears from the report filed by the engineers of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Borough VII, K.M.C. that pursuant to the order passed by the Court, a demolition programme was fixed on 02.08.2023 at premises no. B/48/H/27, Pottery Road, Ward No. 56, Borough VII. The premises was fully occupied. With the help of police personnel the unauthorized floor was vacated and thereafter demolished.

Learned counsel representing the petitioner admits that the unauthorised construction has been demolished. In view of the above, nothing remains for consideration in the present writ petition and the same stands disposed of. Instruction provided by the Engineers be retained with the records.

Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of all necessary formalities.
