Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits Bpg.

rejected that the petitioner is in custody for more than 13 months and there has been no progress in the case although charge-sheet has been submitted.

Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the Court to the material evidence collected by the investigating agency which also includes one dead new born girl child of the victim girl. Victim girl is about 15 years age.

Having considered the materials in the case diary, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage. Learned trial court would expedite the process of consideration of charges as also the recording of the evidence of the victim. Petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the evidence of the victim girl

is over.

Accordingly, CRM(M)633 of 2026 is rejected.
