However, when the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the Election Commission of India submits, on instruction, that an order has already been issued for release of the said vehicle in favour of the petitioner.

As such, since the cause of action of the writ petition has been mitigated, there is no use keeping the matter pending.

Accordingly, W.P.A. No. 6094 of 2021 is disposed of by granting the petitioner liberty to take possession of her vehicle from the appropriate authorities. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
