Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about nine months and has been implicated along with two others for alleged recovery of 31.3 kgs. of ganja/contraband.

Records of the case reflect that on 10.12.2025 cognizance was taken on the charge-sheet submitted before the jurisdictional Special Court.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail.

Having considered the overall circumstances and since the provision of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The petitioner would renew her prayer for bail after the evidence of seizure list witnesses is completed. Learned Trial Court, if required, will prepone the date for evidence of the seizure list witnesses.

The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 438 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed.

Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record.
