We have called for the status report of the suit. Let the same be kept with the record. It appears that the suit was dismissed for default on 13th February, 2018 and there is nothing on record to show that the suit was restored.

In view of the above, the appeal has now become infructuous. Accordingly, the appeal stands dismissed.

The Registrar Administration (L & OM) is directed to communicate this order to the learned Judge, 7th Bench, City Civil Court, Calcutta.
