Case No.1886 of 2020 arising out of Chopra Police Station Case No.486 of dated 22.07.2020 under Sections 147/148/149/448/427/379/436/153A/295/307/505 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act. And In the matter of: Bhabesh Kar & Anr.

Two applications for anticipatory bail are taken up for consideration analogously as they emanate out of the same police case dated July 22, 2020.

All the petitioners are named in the First Information Report. Apparently, a communal riot took place on an incident of rape and subsequent murder.

Since the petitioners stand named in the First Information Report and since the investigations are yet to be concluded and since the police case is dated July 22, 2020, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners in both the applications. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners in both the applications is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 1000 of 2023 and C.R.M. (A) 1002 of 2023 are dismissed.
