Versus

Mousumi Roy Mr. Aritra Kumar Thokdar ...for the Petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the husband praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, 4th Court at Barasat to dispose of the application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act filed in Matrimonial Suit No. 2116 of 2021 expeditiously.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned Advocate on record of the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite parties as well as upon the learned Advocate representing the opposite parties before the learned Trial Judge.

From the order-sheets appended to this application this Court finds that 2nd of April, 2025

has been fixed for hearing of the Misc. Case no. 293 of 2022.

In the light of the submissions made by the learned Advocate for the petitioner CO 835 of 2025 is disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, 4th Court at Barasat to dispose of Misc. Case No. 293 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties preferably by the end of September, 2025.
