For the Respondent No. 10 The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the impugned Memo dated 29th November, 2019 passed by the Block Development Officer, Sonamukhi, Bankura. It is alleged on behalf of the petitioner that notwithstanding pendency of the appeals being Misc. Case No. 74 of 2018 Revenue Appeal No. 127 of 2019 challenging the order dated 8th March, 2018 of the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer in execution case No. 03/Exe/2019 respectively, the impugned Memo has been issued without any authority of law. Mr.
De appearing on behalf of the State respondents submits that there are private disputes by and between the petitioner and the private respondents and the same ought not to be adjudicated by this Court. It is also submitted on behalf of the State that the writ petition is not maintainable since the petitioner has an alternative and efficacious remedy under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act.
The private respondents are represented and oppose the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner. I am of the view that since the aforesaid appeals are pending before the Appropriate Authorities for sometime, the same be disposed of expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from date.
It is made clear that I have not gone into the merits of the disputes and nothing in this order will be binding on the respondent Authorities whilst considering the appeals. With the aforesaid directions, W.P.A. 4296 of 2020 stands disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
