In view of the adverse police report against the petitioner, his application for passport cannot be proceed with.

It will be open for the petitioner to take steps in the matter strictly in accordance with the notification being no. GSR 570(E) dated 25th August, 1993 published by the Ministry of External Affairs in this regard.

The details of the criminal cases are already within the knowledge of the petitioner. If any further criminal case is found to be pending against him, then the petitioner will be obliged to take steps in respect of the said criminal case in accordance with law.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
