This revisional application assails an order dated February 3, 2026 whereby the learned trial court has fixed the June 17, 2026 as the next date for hearing the petitioner's application under Section of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890. CAN 1 of 2026 has been filed seeking orders permitting the petitioner to exercise visitation rights in respect of his two minor children "Reyansh" and "Shaarav" for two hours on June 21, 2026, being the "Father's Day".

Mr. Karmakar learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that although the learned Trial Court had fixed June 17, 2026 as the next date, yet the matter could not be taken up on that day also inasmuch as the relevant Court is vacant as at present. It is submitted that long dates are prejudicing the petitioner. 3.

Mr. Karmakar, further submits that June 21, 2026 will be celebrated as the Father's Day and as such, the petitioner may be permitted to spend two hours with

his two minor sons (Reyansh and Shaarav )on the said date.

It is submitted that the petitioner-father would take the two sons for two hours to the backyard opposite to Science City for spending time with them, if permitted.

Learned advocate appearing for the opposite party submits that the opposite party has never objected to the father meeting with the sons and that there is no objection to the petitioner spending two hours with the two sons on the Father's Day as well as submitted by the petitioner.

In view of the submissions made by the parties, the petitioner is permitted to receive his two sons from the opposite party's residence at 4 PM on June 21, 2026 and spend time with them at the backyard opposite to the Science City and the petitioner shall return them (i.e. the two sons) to the opposite party at her residence at 6 PM on the same day i.e. June 21, 2026 without fail. 7.

Needless to mention that the petitioner as well as the opposite party shall ensure that the children are not harassed and they are not put to any inconvenience in any manner at all.

It is clarified that this direction is being passed only to facilitate the father's meeting with the sons on the Father's Day.

The learned trial court is requested to expedite the hearing of the application under Section 12 of the Guardian and Wards Act, 1894 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible preferably by giving short dates, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

C.O.827 of 2026 and connected application CAN 1 of 2026 stand disposed of. No costs.
