Petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation of the case has been progressing by the police authorities, particularly the principal accused and the kingpin of the offence according to the petitioner was not implicated in connection with the case and other three accused persons were implicated in connection with the case.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that the main grievance of the petitioner related to one Poulami Ghosh Das not being arrested, however records reflect that the said Poulami Ghosh Das has been granted bail by the jurisdictional court. So far as other issues are concerned, investigation of the case is in progress.

Petitioner claims that the C.C.T.V. footages and the CDRs were not accessed by the police authorities for tracing out the offenders.

I have seen the nature of the accusations made as also the steps taken by the police authorities. Having considered the steps so taken, I grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional court for other remedies which are available since the jurisdictional court is in seisin of the issues.

The jurisdictional court would consider any application which is filed whether the same is maintainable and then passed necessary orders. With the aforesaid observations WPA 5391 of 2025 is disposed of.
