1) Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2) Matter is heard in presence of learned advocates representing the parties.

3) Having heard Mr. Ayan Bhattacharjee, learned Senior Advocate representing the petitioner, it appears that petitioner is aggrieved by non-supply of copy of FIR though a notice under section 35(3) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been issued by the concerned police authority.

4) It is recorded that copy of the FIR is made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner during course of hearing.

5) Writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law.

6) It is made clear that prayer for quashing criminal proceeding is not pressed before this Court and same is not decided in this writ petition.

7) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
