Learned Counsel for the petitioner submit coaccused is on bail. He prays for bail. 2.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the bail prayer.

We have considered the materials on record.

Statement of mother of the petitioner shows he had assaulted his father resulting in his death. Co-accused i.e. his wife who is on bail does not stand on the same footing with the petitioner. In view of nature of offence and the evidence on record we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

4. Application for bail is, thus, rejected.
